Toast

Nice to meet You, My Name Is

Toast is an energetic and friendly young dog who needs a home that can better accommodate his needs.

He lives with 2 children and another dog and gets along great with all, but he needs more activity and attention than his current family can provide.  Toast does not like to be crated or confined but is not destructive when left alone.  He loves his squeaky toys and to play tug.  He is affectionate and does not guard his toys or food.  He is good in the car and does well playing at the dog park.  While his canine sibling does not want to play with him, they do peacefully coexist and share a bed.  On leash, he can be too excited to meet another dog. Because of his excitability, older children are recommended.  It is not known how he is with cats.

If you are looking for a friend to go on adventures with, Toast could be the perfect addition to an active family!

Toast will be brought up to date on vaccines and tested for heartworm. He has been neutered and will be microchipped prior to adoption. His adoption donation is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
