Our Story
Wag On Inn Rescue is a dedicated, volunteer-run 501(c)3 animal rescue organization primarily based in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, New Jersey. We specialize in rehoming animals of all ages, breeds, and sizes.
We proudly adopt out to approved families both within and beyond these areas. We do not operate a physical shelter or kennel; instead, our animals are cared for in a network of loving private foster homes.
Our Commitment to Every Pet
As part of the rehoming process, our animals receive all the love and care they need until they find their forever family:
Veterinary Care: All pets are spayed/neutered and ensured to be up-to-date on vaccines.
Identification: Every animal is microchipped before adoption.
Socialization: Fosters work to socialize pets with people and other animals and provide basic training.
Lifelong Support: We evaluate each animal to make the best possible match based on temperament and energy level. If an adoption does not work out, or if the adopter can no longer care for their companion, we request that you always contact Wag On Inn first to discuss finding a solution
