Beeper is a handsome boy who is looking for a new home. He is now in a loving NJ foster home

Meet Beeper.

This little guy is about 3 years old and 15 pounds of sweet, slightly shy charm. We think he’s probably some kind of Rat Terrier mix, give or take a few mystery ingredients, and he’s got those long legs that make him look like he’s always halfway to somewhere important.

Beeper is a little reserved when you first meet him, but he doesn’t stay that way for long. Once he decides you’re safe, he warms up fast and shows off his calm, easygoing personality. He seems to be house-trained, is definitely kennel-trained, and overall just feels like a very good boy who’s trying to do the right thing.

He came to us as a stray from down south, and he’s been getting along nicely with dogs of all sizes. With his laid-back vibe, we’d also guess he’d do well with cats.

If you’re looking for a smaller dog with a gentle heart and a pretty low-key personality, Beeper might be your guy.

Beeper is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $500.

Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
