Chubbs is a silly senior boy who is looking for a new home. He is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana and will land in a NJ foster home on 5/30.
Meet Chubbs
Cute Senior alert! Chubbs is a very snuggly and affectionate corgi mix. He is about 9 yrs old and good with EVERYONE! Cats, dogs, and kids! He's a great dog to have around if you foster puppies and need a puppy babysitter. You would think he'd be grouchy with little puppies, but he loves them. He is house-trained and kennel-trained. He also doesn't mind a little dress up. He came into the shelter at 30 lbs! He has been on a weight loss journey, and he's been doing great. He still loves to eat and, unfortunately, knows the taste of table scraps. He is older but full of personality. He just had a dental done and his teeth look great! He mostly naps during the day but loves a good outing for brunch or the farmers market.
Chubbs is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $350.

Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
