Johnny is a sweet, playful, loving retriever mix who is now in a loving NJ foster home and ready to find his forever home.

Oh, Johnny  

This sweet retriever mix is the full package — house-trained, friendly, mellow, and ridiculously lovable. He’s great with other dogs, loves his walks, and would happily be your sidekick for Netflix nights or backyard adventures. Johnny’s idea of bliss? Stuffed toys, backyard naps, butt scratches, and treats (lots of treats ). He would make a great companion for another canine buddy but would be just as happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only.

He’s the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart until you realize you’ve found your guy. Whoever adopts Johnny is getting pure gold in dog form. 

Johnny is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Johnny is going through heartworm treatment and is available for adoption after May 8th. His adoption donation is $450. 

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
