Meet Krewe!

Krewe made his way to NJ from our sister rescue in Louisiana and is now thriving in a loving foster home while he searches for his forever family.

One of six adorable pups (four girls and two boys), Krewe is believed to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog/shepherd mix. Currently around 10 pounds, he’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, likely around 45 pounds.

Krewe and his siblings had a tough start after being found without their mom, but thanks to a dedicated foster who bottle-fed them, they’ve grown into happy, healthy, and social puppies ready to take on the world.

Krewe is everything you’d hope for in a puppy—fun, playful, and full of love. He enjoys chasing balls, playing with toys, and exploring his surroundings, but he’s just as happy curling up for snuggles. He loves being close to his people and will happily shower you with kisses any chance he gets.

He’s also off to a great start with learning his manners and is doing well with going to the bathroom in the backyard.

And in true puppy fashion, Krewe has a goofy, endearing side—he loves to carry his water bowl around (even when it’s full!), often turning hydration time into a hilarious splash zone. It’s just one of the many little quirks that make him so special.

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and entertaining companion to grow up with your family, Krewe might just be your perfect match.

Krewe is up to date with his puppy vaccines. He will need to be altered when he is of age and this will require a trip to the clinic in Holmdel. His adoption donation is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
