Meet Lucky!   He will be arriving to foster in NJ on 10/10!

Lucky’s luck is finally changing. This handsome poodle—possibly golden retriever—mix was found tied to a porch, and we’re so glad our partner rescue stepped in to help him find a better situation.

He wasn’t in the best shape when he was found, but after a trip to the groomer, this sweet, stoic boy is settling in beautifully with his foster. He seems to be house- and crate-trained, gets along well with other dogs, and is friendly with everyone he meets.

Lucky has energy to spare, especially first thing in the morning or when he comes out of his crate. After spending time tied to a porch, can you blame him for wanting to run? He’s making up for lost time, and it’s wonderful to see him enjoying himself.

Lucky is neutered, up to date on vetting, and ready for a home where he can keep moving forward. Could you be his lucky break?

Lucky is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm.  He has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $500.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
