Meet Marley – A Smart, Sensitive Girl Looking for a Fresh Start

Marley's life was turned upside down in an instant.

When her beloved owner unexpectedly passed away, Marley suddenly found herself without the only family she'd ever known. Along with her brother, Biggs, and three grieving human siblings, Marley has experienced more change and loss in a short time than any dog should have to endure.

Despite everything she's been through, Marley remains a sweet, loving girl who is ready to find stability and happiness again.

This beautiful blue merle Australian Cattle Dog mix is incredibly smart and independent. She enjoys toys, loves having a routine, and already has all the basics down—she's house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Her kennel is her safe space, and she finds comfort in having a predictable environment where she can relax and feel secure.

Marley can be cautious when meeting new people, and she'll need a few days to decompress in a new home. Once she realizes she's safe, her affectionate and playful personality begins to shine. She's the kind of dog who doesn't demand the spotlight but quietly forms deep bonds with the people she trusts.

Marley gets along with other dogs and would love a canine companion. In a perfect world, she and her brother Biggs would stay together, but Marley is also ready to find a loving family of her own if that special adopter comes along.

Because she's clever, athletic, and has a bit of an adventurous streak, Marley will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and play. She also enjoys swimming and would love a family who appreciates both her active side and her need for downtime.

What Marley needs most isn't perfection—it's patience. A family willing to give her time to settle in, rebuild her confidence, and discover that she is loved once again.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart, a brilliant mind, and a story that deserves a happy ending, Marley may be waiting for you.

Marley is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm.  She has been spayed and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $500.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
