Say hi to
Sugar – The Sweetest

Nice to meet You, My Name Is
Sugar – The Sweetest

Sugar arrived to NJ from Mississippi. Sugar is a sweet, very gentle soul who is  beginning to learn how wonderful life can be.

Sugar came from a hoarding situation where she did not get much one-on-one attention, so new experiences can be scary for her initially. She's learning so fast and getting a little more comfortable with each passing day. Sugar is somewhat shy and submissive so we are working on building up her confidence.

Most of the time,
Sugar wants to be wherever her person/people are, however she’s becoming a little more independent each day and will go off to find a comfy bed to nap in.

Sugar lived with many other dogs but would do best with a confident, calm dog.

She would love a home with a mellow canine companion.

Sugar is the sweetest and will blossom in the right home. We are guessing Sugar is a vizsla/black mouth cur mix based solely on her appearance.

Sugar has completed her heartworm treatments. Sugar will be ready for adoption in April. Sugar is up to date on vaccines. Her adoption donation is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
