Tucker is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter
Meet Tucker!

Tucker is about a year old, 50 pounds, and likely a Mountain Cur/Jack Russell Terrier mix—with the brains, charm, and playful energy to match!
This sweet boy had a rough start after being found injured on the streets of Louisiana, but with help from our rescue partner and lots of TLC, Tucker is now safe, healed, neutered, and heartworm-negative. Best news ever!
Tucker has spent the last couple of weeks resting in his very own room, enjoying twice-daily leash walks, toys, and attention from his people. He’s a quick learner who will benefit from basic command training—and he is more than ready to please.
He happily plays with the resident kitten, calmly ignores the small dogs who bark at him on walks, and is learning that not every fast-moving kitty needs to be part of a game of chase.
Tucker is affectionate, eager to learn, and ready to be someone’s loyal adventure buddy and best friend. Who’s ready to give this resilient, lovable boy the forever home he deserves?
Tucker is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. He is neutered
and has a microchip. His
adoption fee is $5
00.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
